The Reshoring Initiative announced the launch of a solution that economic development agencies can use to identify opportunities to attract new production facilities and promote sourcing from existing business in the locales they serve.
The solution, which is being implemented by economic development programs in Mississippi, Pennsylvania and New York, offers a combination of US trade data from Datamyne for researching offshore supply chains and Reshoring Initiative software for evaluating the competitiveness of local sourcing alternatives.
